What are cookies?

What cookies do we use?
Google Analytics:

Google Analytics is the program we use to collect statistics from our website to show us how visitors use our site. We use the information to create reports and to help us to constantly improve the site. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, information like the number of visitors to the site, where visitors have come to the site from and which pages they visited, but we don’t get personal information, and can’t track who you are. Google Analytics creates four cookies:

  • _utma (lasts for two years)
  • _utmb (lasts for 30 minutes)
  • _utmc (lasts until you close your browser)
  • _utmz (lasts for six months)

Wordfence is the program we use to secure our website by scanning for hacked files and monitoring the access of visitors on our site. Wordfence creates two cookies:

  • _wfvt (lasts for 30 minutes)
  • wordfence_verifiedHuman  (lasts for 24 hours)


euCookie is the program we use to inform users that our site uses cookies, it restricts access to some functions on our site if you have not consented to accept cookies. euCookie creates one cookie:

  • euCookie (lasts for one month)

Privacy and data protection

Information about what we do with any information you send us through our website.

Information which you send to through this website, either by email or through electronic forms, will be treated as follows:

  1. We will keep information no longer than we reasonably believe is necessary.
  2. We will use information only for the purpose for which you sent it.
  3. We may use information for statistical analysis but in such a way that your identity will not be involved.

You will not receive unsolicited paper or electronic mail from us as a result of using an electronic form unless we explicitly ask for and get your permission. We will not pass on your email address or any of your personal details to other organisations unless stated.

Unless stated otherwise (for example that you are viewing information over a secure connection) information transmitted over the internet is not secure and we cannot accept responsibility for misuse of information intercepted in this way.

All emails and any associated attachments received by will be examined for viruses etc. This is purely routine and any delay will be kept to a minimum. Paying for goods and services

Any personal details you supply when paying for goods and services through this site will be held and/or computerised by us for the purposes of processing your payment.

Some personal details will be disclosed to banks and other financial institutions in order to process the payment.
